C&L Poultry

C&L poultry, located in Abbotsford BC was started by Corey and Lynn Braak 15 years ago. Corey had previously been driving trucks but slowly started moving into egg farming to allow more freedom for himself. When he first started egg farming, his ultimate goal was to stop driving trucks and be a full-time egg farmer. He proudly achieved it eight years ago!

Within the last few years the Braaks have been one of the first few farmers in BC to make the switch to a free run aviary system. This system allows the birds access to a perches and nesting areas as well as more movement throughout the barn. Currently their barns house around 18,000 layers and they raise pullets (young hens) as well.

In Corey’s spare time he enjoys golfing and hanging out with his friends. One thing that the Braaks would like to tell consumers is that eggs are a good affordable protein that is both healthy and nutritious.
